i'm in love with this ornate vintage tray i just added to the online shop here. my sister has a similiar one that she uses in the middle of her kitchen table to hold her salt and pepper shakers, vase of flowers, etc. i think it would be lovely resting on a coffee table or on a console table like picture above. all that is missing in this picture is some fresh flowers to fill my vintage vase.
